Form Apartments has set a new benchmark in urban living and infrastructure with its dramatic and colorful painted facade.

Form Apartments, Sydney is an outcome of a rare and honest planning and collaboration between diverse design firms like Turner + Asociates from Sydney, Bolles + Wilson from Germany and National Associates from Melbourne. Situated in Victoria Park, which is one of the most successful and appealing living environments, Form Apartments has set a new benchmark in urban living and infrastructure with its dramatic colorful, checkerboard facade. The basic concept was developed through a series of design workshops in Muenster, Germany keeping in mind the magnificent environment and infrastructure in Victoria Park at the fringe of Green Square.

Form Apartments comprises of four beautifully designed buildings painted in definitive colors, of varying heights from four to fifteen stories. Each building is treated as a distinct form and their placement and orientation respond to the street edge conditions, setting it apart as a well planned cohesive unit. The composition of the individual buildings is further enhanced by the use of colored paint on the precast concrete surfaces. The facade is animated by the recesses and projections of the balconies in white and charcoal paint and the use of colored graphics. A large landscaped space is created by the placement of the buildings along the street side. The architecture produced is thus relevant at the urban level while also giving the required importance to each individual unit / form.

Subtle colors like white and charcoal color paint are used to define the massing of each block / form and shades of green color paint liven the facade. Tonal variations of green paint used in recessed surfaces, columns, ledges etc help in visually sculpting these forms.

In totality, Form is a large, mix use development encapsulating residential and retail infrastructure. It consists of 240 apartments including 11 Soho style terraces and 6 retail suites.
