Woody Bar Stool Woody is an original bar stool designed by Odoardo Fioravanti for home and public areas. Woody is made from a plywood sheet mounted on a rolling pneumatic basement. The challenge was to create a wooden structure that supports functions of the stool. The solution led to an innovative shape. Two outgrowths come out from the seat and support the tube-shaped steel footrest. The bar stool is available with a swivel seat and the height can be adjusted with the lifting device. The veneered plywood shell can be in bleached oak, wengé stained, or covered with monochromatic or bicolour laminate. Contemporary Rugs The John Deere rugs offer a snapshot of life in rural Scandinavia. Heavy machinery has long since replaced the labour of farm animals, leaving its trademark tracks in the grass and mud. Made of New Zealand wool, the 5′ round rugs come from Norwegian designers Permafrost. These simple ideas are inspired by the Scandinavian winter, and are awesome for any contemporary interior. Playful Pouffes All the items presented have the purpose of pointing out how, in fact, “rural realities are influencing urban life” and how little by little the stressful urban existence will make room for the peace and quietness of the countryside. The pouffes are colourful, playful and vivid, which is quite the opposite of the whole idea of being stressed out. WoodSure Looking for an armchair that makes a statement? A bold design and a creative approach – this is what characterizes the Symbol chair. The item comes from Adrenalina, an Italian design company with a lot of out-of-the-box furniture creations. The chair in the images can come in different colours, which is what makes this design special. This kind of a vivid armchair would fit well in the children’s room or in a funky teenager hideout. |
