Solaris Glass

Solaris glass is a wall-mounted ‘lightwork’ inspired by the beauty of sunlight streaming through stained-glass windows. The light's colour is filtered by the fused glass in unexpected ways, producing colours not present in either light or glass alone. At any time, one can override the default colour cycle and tune the colour of the backlight using intuitive hue, saturation and brightness controls. Time continues its march as the luminous backlight behind the glass projects the changing colours of the sky during the course of a day.
