Nuru’s professional recognitions include the Young Designers Award, Interior Design, Competition IA&B - February 2000, the Jindal Stainless steel innovation awards 2004 Innovation in Interiors (Professional category), the A+D Institutional Architecture Award, Runner Up: PJI School - Phase I, Warangal, Andhra Pradesh – 2005, the ArchiDesign: Young Architect of the year Award, Western India – 2006 and as Runner Up, IIID Emerging Practice, 2008. They have been awarded for the Winning Entry of ‘Notions of a Nation’ organised by TATA Structura and IA&B in 2007 and as one of two shortlisted entries for a competition by IIID for Godrej to design a modular workstation [on-going].
